On this earth we have been given all the elements essential to our being. While advances in technology for producing more and faster has offered us many conveniences, an awareness to return to products in their purest form is emerging. Whenever possible, we purpose to find ingredients that are organically grown, non-genetically modified and gently processed to bring you products that are only a step away from nature. We hope Latter Rain’s handcrafted bath and beauty care meets a special need in your life.

About Us

Latter Rain is a small home-based business in the woods of Northern Michigan. We started with a ten cent yard sale book on soap-making and an intense desire to make as many of our own products as possible. After that first batch of soft fragrant soap rolled out on the table, we were hooked. Soon we had a pantry full of beautiful handmade lotions and balms and we thought maybe you would be as excited about handcrafted body care as we are.

All our products are lovingly made in small batches. There are occasionally small variances in color or consistency that do not compromise the quality of the finished product and are a signature of handmade products. Many of the herbs used in our soaps and teas are grown in our garden. Each member of our family has contributed in some way to the production or presentation of the soaps and lotions that you will use….bless them each one.
